Cyclist (male) comes along Chilka street, we were driving along Adelaide towards town. Cyclist stops so we can go past as per road rules. Then presumably decides he doesn’t want to wait so cycles onto pavement so he can cycle across pedestrian crossing. He hadn’t checked properly but there was a pedestrian walking long pavement who he nearly hit. There was only 1 car behind us, he would only have needed to wait for about 20 seconds!
