Adult cyclist riding on cycleway at speed approached pedestrian crossing and nearly rode into a group of small children travelling home from school (with adults) no reason to be cycling at a speed that didn’t allow him to stop in time. He wasn’t being chased and there was no sign of any risk to him he just rode off leaving crying child who was distressed having nearly been hit by something considerably larger than they were. Since it was just after 3pm at a busy road crossing near 2 primary schools he should have had every expectation that the crossing would be in use. The group of people trying to cross was large and had adults in so very visible.
