Car door opened in cyclist’s way
While approaching a parked car the door swung open into my path, and the collision threw me onto the road. Particular points of impact include my right knee, right elbow, and the rear derailleur of my bicycle, all of which made firm contact with the road. The driver said he was "sorry" and that he didn't check his mirrors or look behind before opening his door. I was likely travelling at upwards of 30kph, trying to leave room for passing peak-hour traffic from behind me.
