Vehicle was let through from the right hand side of Adelaide Rd to Caltex near Basin Reserve. Did so quite quickly, didn't notice cyclist directly in her path. Cyclist tried to quickly sprint away, driver's vehicle hit rear axle of bike. Rider was shunted by car, but managed to correct course and pull into the petrol station to talk to driver without injury.
